Getting better from being sick

I am so glad to finally be feeling better and getting over the infection (still don't know if it was sinusitis or a lung/chest infection). I've been sick for over the past two weeks and I'm back to feeling human again. Sadly, me getting sick was inevitable since everyone else in the house got it as well. We think my nephew brought it home and then gave it to me and my dad. My mom got sick as well, but luckily her symptoms weren't as bad as the rest of ours. Then unfortunately, my boyfriend ended up getting sick cause he came over to my house even though I told him he would get our germs. He's regretting that decision now. =P

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was spent at home with the family and boyfriend. My nephew's mother and my brother came home to visit their son and we ate lots of good food every single day of the holiday. What more can you ask for, right? Even got to go out and finally watch the new Harry Potter movie with my boyfriend. =) I couldn't go any earlier since I was sick when it released.

Tried to do Black Friday sales, but that was a bust... You either had to be in line for the cheap, limited quantity stuff the night before (sittting in the freezing cold) or the big sales were only on big ticket items like TVs or stuff that a person/family doesn't need to buy often. I'm having way better luck with Cyber Monday sales. I guess over the years I've really turned into an online buyer and I find that I can get the stuff I want for a better deal online than in-store. My problem is that I have to remember to buy presents for other people and not just myself. ^_~ That's been kinda hard.

I'm a big Disney fan and I've been going crazy over the sales going on at the Disney Store. For the past two or three years, I've made it my recent tradition to get ornaments from the Disney Store website:  1) because they have really cute ornaments and 2) because you can get them for a really good deal when they have their sales going on. Cyber Monday is a great example. A lot of their stuff is already on sale and with the CYBER discount code, you can get up to 25% off (depending on your purchase amount) and free shipping. You can't beat that...

So I'm pretty happy with all the sales going on because the stuff I normally buy (i.e. costmetics, etc.) don't go on sale. So it's been nice that I've been able to save on stuff that I would regularly buy anyway. It's just a shame I didn't have unlimited $$$ so that I could shop at all the stores that have sales going on right now. I've been seeing 20%-40% discounts of your whole purchase at a lot of online shops and that is so amazing because of the amount of money you save. I mean, I know you have to spend money to "save" and in essence that isn't saving at all... But yeah. =)  I'm still going to preach about what greats savings I got even though I probably spent more than I normally would. =P
