I just started working at Check$mart about a month ago and already, lead the store in sales and fees collected. Anyways at work today they fired 3 people as I walked in (around 11 am). After opening my drawer, the general manager and district manager asked me, if I wanted to enroll in the smart tract program. which is the company's way of finding out who is the best candidate for management. I immediately declined the offer. They asked "why?" and I simply said "This is my job and I do not want to make it a career". After trying to convince me that becoming an assistant manager is a great idea, etc... I asked if can think it over while I smoked (not tobacco) outside. I ripped the sobe and walked in and said "I still don't want any part management".
