Plans for the week, and a special note to ALC

First of all, I found out there's a Christian-based cafe close to where i live. Like...what? God coffee? I don't know, but there is a tray called the Mount of Olives Cheese Platter and I am thinking I might have to go for that, despite the fear that someone will attack me with Jesus the moment I walk in. Sadly, they're closed on Monday (another huh?) so I guess maybe I'll go tomorrow. Today I am exploring and going to a coffeeshop that also doubles as a place that gives tango lessons. this town is crazy. Crazy awesome.

Jane and I have decided to do some spec work while we're jobless. We're both getting a bit antsy. So we thought we'd make fake ads for Lovely, a bake shop/cafe that's right next door to Jane's apartment (and therefore only a few blocks away from me.) We both like the place, it's got some interesting bits about it (like two-person pies and no working electrical outlets) and they're not a chain, so if we thought we had something good on our hands, we could actually show them our ideas, free of charge.

STOP THE PRESSES. Adrienne...maybe if we need some photography done, would you like to contribute? Just thought of this. Haven't thought it through. We'd probably need to get their permission before we take pictures in the cafe but...anyway. A thought. Yes?

Otherwise, my plans for this week are:
1. Work out
2. Finish Hunchback of Notre Dame
3. Feel jittery while waiting to hear back from Jones, a small agency I just sent an email to asking for work
4. Feel jittery while waiting for a creative recruiter to get back to me about hiring news
5. Prepare myself to go to a creative recruiting agency that is pretty big time next Tuesday.
6. Figure out how to create an analog book for said big-time recruiting agency
7. Explore coffee shops. Go to a different one each day?

Well, now that I have my work cut out for me, I should probably get out of bed.

I wish we had gotten laid off in June. Jeez. I would be SO TAN.
