just a little story. :)

last sunday, my brother and i were driving down fairview at 12am in the morning in his newly-restored 1971 superbeetle. while waiting for the go signal, four really young street kids huddled around the car. my brother's window was down so one kid talked to him.
"kuya, kuya, anong tawag sa kotseng ito?"
"pagong"
"ano? kangkong?"
"PAGONG"
"pagong? sabi nito (points another kid) kotseng kuba daw yan. kotseng kuba ba yan?"
i laugh. my brother just smiles.
"matagal na ba 'to, kuya?"
"oo, matagal na."
"kailan pa? eh kuya, kuya--"
"teka, go na."
so we went. when we reached tandang sora, my brother turned to me and said:
"iba talaga appeal ng beetle, noh?" then he winks.
...aren't cars used to attract girls and not street children? hehe. wala lang. just a thought.
