I broke my wrist today.
I have a cast now, heheee!
Sarah and I got to the paddocks at 7am we loaded Fudge and Ally successfully onto the mustard coloured float at 7.30am when John arrived. Sarah and I drove behind the float, it was so nerveracking. Got to the showgrounds at 8am. Andy, Sarah and Tray came along. We prettied the ponies up and started our classes at 9am. Fudge and I didnt get placed in best turnout. Only the rich do cause they have the best leather tack and riding etiquette. In our next class she got second yay! I had a break after that class so I trotted and cantered Fudge something shocking. The grass was real long so her canter was really (and i mean really) emphasized. She suddenly bolted to the right. I got pushed up. I lost one stirrip, then my balance. I hit the ground, Fudge took off in some direction I was shitting myself. Caught her and tied her up. I did some walking and trotting on her though, Tray led cause I could only hold the reins in my right hand. Sarah and Ally got a 2nd, 3rd and 4th. She reckons she may have broken her toe. Silly ponies. We love them yet they hurt us haha.
Saturday night I went to Joannas for half an hour. Melissa and Julia were there too which was cool. I left before 9pm and picked up Jenna, Gabrielle, Tarn, Nic and Ally. We went to Tims for drinks. Well I had half a glass of wine being the sober driver. It was fun. We were there like 4 hours. Took some photos which I must post up. Nic got sooo wasted, I walked him around the block while he babbled. Ha it's like we swapped roles. I met some of his stac friends I've heard so much about which was cool. I dropped Nic, Tim, Ally, Ryan and Michael in town at 1.30. Gab, Jen, Tarn, Bayka and I went back to Jens and talked for two hours. It was great.
Going to the after hours today wasn't too bad, although we were there for over an hour. It's weird cause a fractured elbow hurt waaay more than a broken wrist.
Okay you guys have no idea how hard it is typing with one hand! Or doing anything as a matter of fact.
