I 'm out of touch again, and I feel bad about it. There's really not much to report in my life, except that I'm once again finally slogging toward that ultimate goal of two initials tacked onto the end of my name. (D.O., for those of you who haven't been following along.) Work is work, and as always, has a tendency to own me when I let it. It's funny though how the little things effect so much else in your life. It's been years since I took any of my classes seriously, so when I started this nightmare known as Calculus I, I had to play mad catchup in basic math skills to know what was going on. Consequently, I missed one of my quotas last month for the first time in the three years I've been working in sales. No biggie, but it's annoying. Then, after I got an A on my calc exam yesterday morning, I did half of this month's quotas in two days. Amazing what a lack of distraction will do for you.
Anyway, nothing really new to report. I don't think posted about it, but some friends of ours were living with us for a while...they have moved out now, and I love that my house stays clean and my utility bills are reasonable again. Travis says that hospitality must be some kind of requirement to be a Reeves, and that's cool, but I think there's a point at which you have to say no...I gotta find that point next time the issue comes up. You people should email me. I like getting emails, and when they pop up at work, I can usually respond pretty quickly. Any of you who know my formal first name should be able to figure it out, but if you don't, let me know. My email is (my formal first name).(my last name)@alltel.com. Send me something, I like to keep in touch. Two of my closest friends have died this year, and I'm realizing more and more how important it is to stay in touch with the ones you love.
