Strong and stupid?...
Or weak and smart?
Dear Friend,
wich would you rather be; strong and stupid or weak and smart?
If I had a choice I would be strong and stupid... And by stupid, I mean REALLY stupid. Stupid enough to not recognize my own shortcomings. Strong enough to pummel my way through life blindly.
Afterall, as they say, "ignorance is bliss", right?
Instead, I've been born smart enough to see my own weaknesses but not strong enough to rectify them.
Which would you rather be?
If weakness is a wound
That no one wants to speak of
And cool is just how far we have to fall
And I am not immune
I only want to be loved
But I feel safe behind the firewall
Can I lose my need to impress?
If you want the truth
God, I have one prayer tonight and You know what it is. I almost lost this once. Never again.
