I think that it is fair to day that the inclusion of one's self into daily grind is the most depressing experience in life. I'm certain that every human being gets to a point when they realize how mundane it all is; how mudane they are. Should people get upset when this epiphany occurs? I really don't think so. Look, everyone has tried to write poetry, songs, paint a picture, wair odd clothes, cling to some sort of noticable trend. None of us are any more important than the sum of our experiences. Are you happy? I mean are you happy with all of it? it's a fair question to ask yourself. What's to stop you from driving your car off of a bridge, or choke down some valium with a little booze? Is it the mundane? The daily grind? It has to be, Otherwise why the hell are you still around?
A philosopher once postulated that our desires drive our morality, not our principles. If this is true, the boring part of life is actully desired by us,not simply there because it has to be, it's our nature. I just wonder sometimes if that is what I get so upset at...
