- SUPERGIRL!
- Yeah, maybe it's because I was spoiled and knew basic plot stuff but I really didn't think I'd like the episode. Turns out, I did. I felt it was a little... weird? Maybe not boring, but it's hard to get excited when my mom's watching with me and disliking the scariness/gore so she turns on her iPod. I was distracted. Again, hard to get excited.
- I did like the creepiness. I kind of wanted to smack the family for moving in anyway or the brother from going in the walls, but I guess that's par for the course with horror tropes so I should shut up about that. There were nice, S1 throwback hero moments that made me squee, but I felt out of it watching it. Decent one shot, but not enough that I'd see it again and again.
- ahaha, oh, kripke, you with your incest plot. I'm steering clear of THAT one (though, that girl creeped me the fuck out. Jeez. Rats! ... I can only think about Cry-Baby with rats and tight spaces though. Hmm.)
- The shed reminded me of Evil Dead. Where's Ash and his chainsaw when you need him?
- LOVED the parallels between soldiering on with the couple and Sam and dean watching them. Damn. Liked that more than Dean's confession at the end. The ending sort of felt out of place even though it goes full circle to the beginning of the ep. Maybe I am sad that Dean refused his food. AWW, DEAN-O.
- When Sam went back to his nap and the car shook I kind of went "WHEE!" and got all heart eyes at him in the backseat. IDK EITHER, ALL RIGHT. Sam looked really, really gorgeous in this.
Bring on next week, please!
