2009's almost here...
I didn't want to do one of those year end memes, because for me personally, 2008 has been a rough year. A lot of family drama and a lot of transition. I graduated college and continued my first job while dealing with family things. I've had a lot of writer's block partly as a result of that and so I turned to making art more often instead. On the other hand I've gained plenty of lovely and fascinating friendships, as well as strenghtened older ones. I've gone on my first trip out of state without my family (Wincon!), learned a lot of new techniques at work, explored more of New York City, became more of a grown up (gasp!) and again, managed not to go insane. I think that bears repeating.
I don't really do resolutions either but if I had to list some, I'd say procrastinate less, learn how to say no, continue with that grown up thing, write more (fandom-wise and script/book wise), be more sociable, and explore new things and places.
*eyes list* ...yes, I could word it better, but my mind is occupied with tonight's upcoming New Years's shenanigans. Have fun, everyone!
