Finally, the day is here so I can flail openly and not just in private or at her (although I have no memory of this, but it may have been late and I may have been high on Coca Cola).

“The Sunshine State,” Sam intones, as though he’s reading an ancient accursed incantation and not a splashy billboard welcoming them to the state of orange groves, Disneyworld, and cheerfully corrupt election hijinks. Sam and Dean head down to Miami to investigate strange drownings that may be connected to an honest-to-God mermaid. But nothing's clear-cut and things get weirder and weirder as the murder count rises and one of the boys finds himself under the Siren's sway. Throw in some excellent Cuban food, investigations in the heart of Little Havana, and a stolen boat leading to a ride ending in bondage ("Are you ready, Odysseus?”). Welcome to Miami.
I had the honor of beta-ing and if you're looking for a thrilling, adventurous read with the boys, then click and have a good night reading. The OFCs are fantastic, the dialogue sharp and witty, mysterious and entralling sea creature myth and the boys eating yummy food and speaking Spanish. Dude. You have no idea how many kink awesome buttons this fic presses. And that's even without me talking about the bondage! Whole thing reminds me of a really amazing episode if they had a bigger budget and if they could somewhat deal with Jensen's request to have 'em solve a ghost surfer. Or um. Just to be in a tropical climate anyway. If you like Dexter, you'll also get a kick out of this too. Go! Read!
