I picked up Supernatural: Origins #2 the other day regala_electra pointed this out to me before I read it, and I'm just as pissed afterwards -- so John got the car from Mary's uncle? Even though we see him and the boys sitting on the car in the pilot before this comic is to have taken place? The fuck?
The art does not match. The art reminds me of Mike Mignola only in this case it doesn't fit -- maybe because I don't see the content matching up with what's supposed to be a darker tone in the art. Or maybe I want John to look a little more like JDM and Dean to look like young!Jensen and Sammy to not have a stupid beanie on his head. Even though that image right there is hilarious.
Is it weird of me to see this and get a little happy thought of, "RPG! SPN video game! Like Final Fantasy! And travelling across the country and getting jobs and boss levels and rockin' music as they sleep at an inn, only there's bedspring noises mixed in as HP replenishes!"
...You know it's a good idea. I demand it available on all consoles, with leather jackets and hoodies as armor and the weapons menu would kick ass.
