I was in the mood for some chocolate earlier, so I thought: cookies! Except I didn't want to make a whole batch because they'd only sit there on the plate in a delicious little mountain of yumminess and tempt me. But then I remembered there was a tub of pre-made cookie dough in the freezer AND that I'd heard somewhere you can make one cookie at a time in the microwave, so I thought, oh yes, self, that is what we shall do! Oh, you are so terrifically clever (which, coincidentally, is what I believe Bradley James is thinking ALL THE TIME, LMAO! Except he probably adds a few manly adjectives to the end, amiright?).
Anyway, I--again, much like Bradley--was not quite so clever as I thought, as I had no idea how long one should leave a scoop of cookie dough in the microwave. I was young and reckless and stupid and decided I'd just ~*~experiment~*~ instead of checking. I think you know where this is going.
I ultimately ended up eating a spoonful of chocolate frosting, haunted by the smell of singed cookie coming from my kitchen of failure.
Possibly, when the vent sucks up the last of the burnt smell, I may try again.
