Happy 4th!

First of all, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!! I actually got to go watch fireworks with my mom and dad tonight for the first time in I don't know how many years. I did have to work but I got off just in time to make it. I'm still in a lot of pain, not gonna lie. Thank got for Lortabs. I go for my check-up tomorrow afternoon and I definitely need a refill. Granted, it's a lot better compared to the first couple of days but I would say the pain is still about an 8 if 10 is the worst it's been during this whole process. Still doing the whole popsicles, sherbert thing, except that I have had a little bit of mashed potatos and a little bit of mac and cheese two times each. But it will definietly still be a while before I can have anymore real food. I'm not really in any hury though, I still want to lose some more weight. :-) I have to go back to class tomorrow morning, gag. But on the plus side, my IMS class tomorrow night is cancelled. YAY!!!!!

I did work on Saturday and Sunday and really probably shouldn't have. I didn't even make any more than normal, but oh well. Tobe tried to call me in on Monday but I didn't answer (even though I didn't go to class) because I just needed a day to rest after working the weekend. It was my bad though because apparently they did over 700 people with 5 servers. Kristi walked with about $330 after tip out which is AMAZING! I didn't think it was possible. Cory walked with $210 he said, so they didn't all do that good but apparently that was the night to work. I don't think I could have handled getting my ass kicked though. Oh well.

Spending time with Amber was a lot of fun. We pretty much picked up right where we left off. It wasn't awkward at all, which was awesome considering it's been... gosh... 2 or 3 years since I've seen her. We didn't really do anything though, which was fine with her so that was good. We just sat around, watched tv and movies, laid outside, and her and my mom did a little shopping and then came in to Bishops to eat, so that was nice. Now I have to plan a trip down to O-town to see her. She can get me in to Disney and everything for free so it'll be a lot of fun. I think my mom's gonna go with me one time too.

Speaking of which, my mom and I have been spending a lot of quality time together lately, whenever we get a chance. It's awesome. I love her so much. She's the greatest. Me, her, and dad went and saw Superman Returns Monday night. It was pretty good. We all enjoyed it. It was actually nice to do something with them.

Anyway, I better get to bed. In Shawn's words: Peas
