Pain
Okay so Monday I got my tonsils removed. They aren't lieing when they tell you it hurts like hell, just in case you were wondering. When I woke up I thought I was fine... then later that night the morphine wore off and I realized I was terribly mistaken. I didn't sleep at all Monday night and was just in tears a couple times. So Tuesday morning my dad called the Dr. and asked if there was anything else they could give me and he said no, that there was nothing they could give me to take away the pain completely or I would stop breathing. (What does that tell you?) But he said I could take two pain pills every 4 hours instead of just one.... this has been my saving grace for the past few days. I've survived on popsicles, jello, smoothies, pudding, juice, water, and applesauce. It really hasn't been so bad, and with most of it being sugar-free it is a fantastic diet plan. I am still in a lot of pain but it is getting increasingly better each day. I was supposed to work tomorrow night but I think I'm going to take one more day off and go in on Saturday. Hopefully I'll make bank this weekend.. it's pretty much our busiest weekend... good job me for picking this week for my surgery. Oh well.
On the plus side of all of this I have been PAMPERED!!! :-D I got beautiful flowers from my moms boss and from Mom Hurley and Jen. I felt so special. Guess who didn't get me diddly squat? Jared. Can we say dog house? Whatever. I told him I was sad about it. He apologized. Again, whatever.
I'm about to go say goodbye to Ryan. Him and his friend (not Tim) and his parents were down this week and are leaving in the morning. I saw him a few times... mainly when they came in to work to get free food and have my friend buy them liquor. I'm not gonna lie, I feel slightly used. But they did come see me for a lil bit on Tuesday so that was nice of them.
And in exciting news: Gayle is here with Joey and Ronnie for a lil over a week and we are celebrating Ronnie's first birthday Saturday.. I can't wait to see them. And in MORE exciting news: AMBER IS ON HER WAY TO COME SEE ME!!!! Yes ma'am (sir). She is in Orlando for this semester doing a Disney internship and has a few days off so she is coming to stay here until Sunday!! I am mega-psyched!! I haven't seen her in so long! I hope she is okay with just chillin though.. I can say that I'm not going to be too exciting for a while yet.. plus I have to work on Saturday (if I can) but oh well. I'm still excited.
