Favs and not-sures.

I finished reading Blue Moon Rising by Simon R. Green.

It's even better than I remembered. It was less funny than I recalled, but the fight scenes were much shorter than in my head. I love this book so very much!

Yes, it shall remain my favorite book of all time. How could it not? The female main character kicking all sorts of ass, lots of gore and violence, OTPness, and not everything going perfectly at the end just because it was the finale. *Hugs tightly* Your sequel to this book was utter crap, Simon, but I so very much love this one.

I'm now onto Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series once again (second book) - Academ's Fury. I'm not too far into it, so I don't have much to say... except that Tavi so far doesn't majorly suck. In that, I believe a huge improvement has been made. We'll see if my feelings on that continue.

And on a side note, I'm eating these Fruit Crisps from Nature Valley. Cinnamon Apple, to be precise. I've been eating one as a snack at work in the afternoons for about a week now... and am still not sure whether I like them or not. I don't like the smell, I know that much. But the taste... well, one minute, I'll have decided that I liked it. The next, not so much. SO CONFUSING. It's food! It should be very easy to tell whether I want to buy another package or move on.

Of course, it's a healthy snack, and those are hard to come by for me at work (hard to bring in cauliflower and low-fat dip, ya know?), so that might be part of my body's confusion to it.

Yes, I realize that was completely random.
