This is my horrified face.
Was listening to 105.9 FM this morning. And here's the gist of it:
Mike: It's time for Would You Rather! [Blah blah] Last question: Would you rather be unconscious while someone violated you or wide awake?
Kate: ... You mean like rape?
Mike: Uh, yeah, sure.
Claire: Definitely awake. I'd want to put that guy away and pay for what he did to me.
Kate: Definitely unconscious. I wouldn't want to remember something like that!
Claire: ... But then you wouldn't be able to identify who did it and put them away so they wouldn't do it to someone else.
Kate: Hey, that's fine by me. I don't want to deal with what that would to do me to remember.
[Jokes about therapy bills and such abound.]
Mike: I deem Kate the winner of this round!
Claire: ... WHAT?
Mike: Yup, you should want to be unconscious during something like that.
[Claire fumes, Kate cheers, and I flail.]
