Okays, just went to the dentist again. Not fun.

Ehm well mine weren't that painful. Is my mouth that numb by nature? Or did they use a huge needle in your case or something? I never saw the tip of the needle but given how little I felt usually I'd think it was superthin.

Yeah while eating soup is a good idea it may have been too soon. I haven't yet let anything fall out of my mouth though and the numbing is wearing off fast now. So it only lasted a few hours.

I've had gum shots and roof of mouth shots and have only felt the second ones. But maybe this dentist is better at choosing spots.

Yeah that is just sadistic but people always talk about drooling and all that. I was expecting it to be much worse, numb all day and things.

Yes that part was worse last time, I couldn't pucker and my cheek was so stiff and not giving me signals about the drool, how much and where etc.

This time I could pucker though.
