[This is not the typical "how did this happen I am not good with cameras" first video post, though it doesn't make very much sense. Someone's playing with the camera to see just what kind of mischief can be achieved with it.

The first fifteen seconds are of a wall of a dark, nondescript room. A low rumble like an idling motor can be heard in the ( Read more... )

No one brings out the WTF icon like Rinzler.... feels_no_love April 18 2011, 01:07:33 UTC
Text:

According to my exploration, Mr. Rinzler, there are eight floors with twenty cells apiece, plus a high security level I could not access and two above-deck levels I have no access to either.

If the majority of the cells are occupied by at least one prisoner, the local population is between 160 and 200.

What is CLU?

Definition, CLU: Codified Likeness Utility. System administrator for the Grid. Owns root permissions for Security Program JA307020.

Population approximation of 160 ± 20 occupants acceptable. Query: Who?

I am new here and could only identify perhaps half a dozen individuals.

You refer to what the call the Admiral. His location is unknown.

Definition error: The Admiral is not CLU.

English is not my first language and your dialect is extraordinarily strange. If another holds this title, it is unknown to me.

[Reply delay may inferred to be because Rinzler is translating himself into plain English. Plaintext?]

The Admiral is System Administrator for the Barge. CLU is System Administrator for the Grid.

This is not the Grid.

Oh. You speak not of this place's lord but your own. I see.

This place must seem even stranger than you than it does to me.

One of the floors has a library which may divulge more information. There is also the possibility of asking one of the Wardens.

Confirm definition, library: contains discrete stored data.

Wardens have administrator privileges. Functions: maintain security, rectify class:Inmate. Full disclosure of information advisable?

[There's a delay, before the following is appended to the comment:]

Will they answer direct questions?

If you ask whether being honest with whatever Warden is assigned to you, I would suggest that that information be traded for intelligence of equal value about this place. Some will even volunteer information.

Yes, many of the Wardens are very forthcoming in answering direct questions.
