Remember the yarn I'd spun last post, and the cowl/hat I was making with it?
Well, that turned into a hat. And a pretty nice one, if I do say so myself.
I did end up dyeing it, since the off-white yellow made me look bright pink - not a good look. I dyed it with some green food colouring, and it's so awesome now! *squishes it*
Anyway, on to the pics:
I just love the look of hand-dyed stuff - it's not 100% even, and the slight variation in colour make it look much more interesting. And because I dyed it after knitting it, the colour variation isn't stripey, but in larger "blocks" of varying colour intensity across the whole hat.
