Yo Ho! Disney re-make/Some fun icons
Disney is updating the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, to be opened in July 2006.
I'm unsure how I feel about this yet. On one hand, I seriously love Disney. Aladdin and Pirates of the Caribbean are two of my favorite movies of all time. Perhaps the changes will make it better. I'm sure there will be technological advances and such, so there's promise there, and I did love the movie. On the other hand, the ride was already fun, and it seems weird to change the original to more closely match the movie it inspired. I don't know. I'll just have to wait and see.
I do believe this calls for an emergency Disneyland visit at the end of the summer. Poor me. :)
