Finally, and I repeat FINALLY I installed Photoshop on my pc. And, yes: it was a complete nightmare. I still haven't understood how to crop images or sharpen them, but my dear old Digital Image Suit is still here and will stay on my pc for a VERY long time... ;)
Anyway, sometimes ago I bumped on this amazing page dedicated to tutorials. I saved it, dreaming about using it when Photoshop would have been mine. So, today I went there again and started following step by step what the author said. I hadn't taken in consideration that my Photoshop is in Italian and that it would have been THAT complicated to associate tools and everything to what I had in front of my eyes... I was saved - literally - by the blog owner and I cannot thank her enough for helping! ...My hope to create decent icons has come back to me thanks to her! ;)
