(no subject)
omg, it's been a long time.
I am bored silly. it's muggy outside and I am so tired. I am glad we have central air, but I am just as trapped in the summer now as I was in the winter. I try to not turn it on, but hubby comes home and cranks it or complains. If we have it off, we can leave doors and windows open and enjoy the season.
I am teaching a mini session of yoga at the Y before the fall I session begins. I have also been asked to look into teaching for my teacher by my teacher. However this means flying out to CA for a 16 day training and it ain't cheap. It looks like the training that we could make work would be in the spring, during spring break when hubby has a business trip and he would consider taking kids with him. yeah, that works, but I would want to travel with them too! :( I have sent my teacher an email to try and set up a time we can talk.
I am still sugar free, but I have sort of stopped with the whole OA thing. I still following my food plan and journal and receive phone calls, but I don't make them and I haven't been to a meeting all summer.
I am continuing my knitting for me year; I have so many socks and a scarf and I started working on a second scarf just this morning.
Josie is plugged into tv. after a morning of summer school and a bit of playing with neighbor kids she was freaking out and I actually suggested that she do her piano lesson and then watch tv for a bit. Riker has a friend over and Garth is on the upstairs puter. We bought the boys cell phones this summer. we actually got them one to share, but then Garth got his own in August. It is working to help them be a little more social and eased our minds as well as making drop off and pick up easier. we'll see how the school year goes. they will each have to contribute $5 each every month toward the bill.
we have nothing going on officially this weekend. it is artstreet, but it is supposed to rain :( plus both boys have plans so I will be taxi driver.

I know they don't all start at the same time, but those are the shows we are waiting for. obviously the view is for myself--my hubby will stand just outside the room and sort of watch but not admit it. I love Whoopie on there!
Our beach days this summer sort of fizzled. We had them, just not enthusiastically. Next week our beach day will be at a real beach, but I have to get back to town to teach a class.
