(no subject)
it's a snow day! We have so much snow and under it is so much ice! it's like having an extra pane of glass on the car! I don't mind having the kids home and hubby went to work so it is doubly good. yesterday I watched movies and knit and did laundry and dishes and just hunkered down inside our little house of a snow globe.
I think I need to get a job. I want to work in a coffee shop in town, but I am afraid that I will no longer like going there if I work there. also I worry about being a foodie working in a food environment.
today is my dad's birthday and his gift will be us taking him and my mom out to dinner. hopefully that will be fun and not stressful. ha.
I had a call last week from the sw about D. did I get her up to date on her shots? apparently my doc did not put info into system? I am not sure if that got all squared away, but I saw on CCAP that mom was arrested, but filed only (??) for a disorderly conduct back in jan. maybe D will bounce?
have you seen You are what you eat on the bbc channel? my new favorite show. I have been dvr-ing it when our dvr is not being stupid and erasing everything we have recorded and scheduled. last night I watched it while hubby was in the room and maybe it is rubbing off a bit. before bed he was saying how he had to start exercising. I just listened and didn't nag. that is the hardest part. he's got to figure it out on his own and I can't be so righteous as to say I have been telling you that for years.
