England and Norway were sitting in stunned silence, like they had been for the past few hours. England was on his fifth cup of tea and Norway's cup of coffee sat untouched beside him.
"Germany did make a pact with me, yes." Loki had said and then pointed at his lips. England grumbled, but gave him a peck. Loki frowned, but accepted it.
"Can you tell us the details of the pact?" Norway asked.
Loki gave them a sharp smile. "I was hoping you'd ask me that. You'll have to give me a proper kiss for the answer."
"Fine" Norway stepped forward and kissed him.
"You always kiss well Norge." Loki said, after Norway had pulled back.
"The story?"
"Right," Loki said and began.
Norway took a sip of his coffee and winced. Cold coffee tasted like tar and ask mixed together. "More tea?"
Abruptly, England placed the cup on the table. "How the bloody hell can you be so calm about this?"
Norway made a face at his coffee, got up and dumped it in the sink. "I'm angry too England. I'm just not showing it."
"You should! He didn't have the right to take it away! It's ours!"
"He is young and the young do foolish things." Norway pointed out. "Just like your America."
"He's older than America! And what the hell do you mean by my America." Norway merely gave him a faint smile and made himself another cup of coffee.
"Think about it rationally." Norway turned back to him and took a sip of his coffee. "This is Europe. Full of warring nations and personifications who cannot get along for more than a few minutes without something happening. One grows up too fast in that kind of environment and one also does not grow up properly." England gave him a confused look. Norway thought he should have made his coffee stronger. He wasn't up to this right now. All he wanted to do right now was call Danmark and listen to him inanely babble away. Norway sighed. "During that time, everyone was still angry at him. It's only now that we actually help our neighbors out for something other than our own gain. He must have felt that he couldn't have asked for help." England nodded. "Anyway, I suggest calming down before you attempt to explain it to Prussia." England froze.
"I have to explain this to Prussia?!" England looked thoroughly alarmed. "How the bloody hell am I supposed to do that?"
Norway shrugged. England shook his head and grabbed his arm. "You're helping me." he declared.
Now it was Norway's turn to look alarmed. "What?"
"You're involved too." He gave Norway a sharp look. "Besides, you're better at explaining." Norway pulled away and rolled his eyes. He'd probably get stuck with explaining.
"Fine"
