zomg wtf bbq?!
today i visited the interactive multimedia thesis um.. exhibition thing. heres an overview : http://interactive.usc.edu/thesis2007 . it was pretty interesting. most of the guys are pretty cool. many of their projects seemed like proof of concept and thats fine. most of them had serious potential. i felt a sense of belonging when discussing their projects with these guys because they were all pretty smart and knew many more things than i did. sklathill seemed a bit stressed out and short (not really sure why since everything was going pretty smoothly from what i could tell).
before this, i went to golden deli and had some pho for lunch with a few friends from anime club.
after the exhibition i went to have dinner at sushi 55go, then to play queen of heart.
my friend tony of realotakuheroes.com has his girl over from alaska. he asked if she could come in the car to the exhibition and i was like ZOMG WTF speechless cause i didnt know she was even in the la area. i offered to help him out with the cash before to bring her down because he was tight on it, but man totally surprising. shes pretty cute. plays games, has small boobs. go tony go. looks like you win :)
i am going to do a little resting and get ready for another long day tomorrow. sometimes, being busy is kinda nice. its been a while since ive hung out with tony. i was pretty sad that vince (sklathill) was too busy to go out with us. there may be some time later in the week when we can go out. i suppose we shall see.
the pattern feels woven tightly today. no holes, no tears, no random warping. of course, sometimes i wish that my desire for power over or my power over these things was a little more absolute because i want laura or tiffany to be with me for these types of times on occasion. its nice when someone you care about can be around to share nifty days and interesting ideas.
OH WELL. i lose. even though i win, i lose. a toast to tony, master of the universe.
