Lost week
I haven't done much this week. I got sick on Monday, and that has kept me from doing much. I went to campus on Tuesday, but only for an hour to teach class---I went straight home afterwards. I stayed home sick on Wednesday, then I spent a couple hours on campus on Thursday and today. (After a couple hours, I was ready to go home and sleep and hide away...)
Basically, this week I treaded water, but I didn't get any research done. Grr. I'm hoping that I get some actual research done on the weekend. That would make this week less of a joke.
I was a good boy, though. I avoided work, but I also canceled my social obligations. I just stayed home, drinking fluids and resting and trying to get better. This damn cold/flu stuck around for days, but I think I'm most of the way over it.
