KISS ME BABY
so. i'm not freaking out so bad. i was able to pick up some hours at my gym but in childminding. yay, babies! april and may i have all my hours. it's not many because throughout the week it's ony 5-8pm. but it adds up and it's better than nothing. phew. i also got a call from my landscape friend. i think he'll be randomly calling me to come in.
i also finally got some russian visa business under way. i've got my tourist voucher finally. so tomorrow i am off to to send my shit away to the russian consolute. where i proceed to pay $180 to wait 22 business days. fuckers. i hate russia already.
today is nice outside, i have the day off and i'm running errands and such. tonight i have my volunteer group. my friend/inmate at this group has given me two articles he has written. i have to have them read by tonight because he is waiting for feedback. one is on his own healing from what he has done, and the other is a viewpoint on the death penalty from the perspective of a lifer. i better get on that. maybe i'll take them and sit in a park in the sun and read read read.
yesterday was my last official day at my practicum. i think i had my lover sweating. he's going through a rough time. i had such an awesome day. it couldn't have been better. i'm so sad that i won't be there 3x a week. i have talked to my IPOs and given them both my number. it's been agreed that i will continue coming until the end of may when i leave for eastern europe. but i can't afford to keep going 3x a week, especially when random days i don't even have work to do. so both IPOs are supposed to call me in as needed. i really hope that i am needed at least once a week. but i am doubtful. i feel that the one IPO i signed up under won't really remember that i am there, available to do work. so i may have to take action and call to check in every week. i still plan on going up there randomly for ceremonies and such. coming up is an info fair for the guys put on by the john howard society. halfway houses and employment people will be there. i'm definately going for that.
