Tis brilliant. There are some curious parallels with Twilight but it strays into completely different direction most of the time, which is very fun. :D

I've noticed that not giving things like that much thought makes me able to enjoy *both* series but ymmv of course. :)

I really want to see Tru Blood although I'm a bit nervous as I've read the Sookie Stackhouse novels it was based on (because those are awesome)

And no, you're not the only one who wasn't thrilled with HB6. But I'm just not one of those people. I'm more than happy to point you in the direction of folks who found it annoying though.

*hugs*

Twilight sucks fucking ass. It doesn't belong in the vampire fandom at all.

I'm actually feeling the urge to read the novels BASED on the TV show, which is pretty unusual for me! I'm quite keen.

YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO WATCH IT! It's seriously proper adult. It's like Buffy but shown on HBO at 3am.

Hehe. What snogged said. My flist is filled with people bitching about every tiny little thing that they hated! But it's also filled with people who loved every little thing too. So it's quite an even balance I'd say.

I love True Blood, it's my tacky-but-awesome guilty pleasure!

I've heard some very mixed things about True Blood, actually. I've heard that it's brilliant and sexy and stuff, and then I've heard some people say that it's really bad. *shrugs*

And I haven't seen HP6, but I didn't like the book very much. Oh, well. *crosses fingers*

Hehe. Bisexual penguins are even more amusing than gay penguins. Poor Pepper. :(

Harry Potter 6. What the HELL. Where was the build up of all these unnecessary cheesy romantic tension? How in the hell did Hermione go from annoyance to sobbing when it comes to Ron? Why the hell can't Dumbledore act? Why isn't Alan Rickman the star of the damn movie? And this isn't really a complaint because I found it hilarious, but did LOTR and HP make a contract deal to have thousands of smeagol/golums cameo in the movie as Inferi? WHY WAS FENRIR GREYBACK EVEN THERE IF HE NEVER BIT ANYONE?! I WANTED TO SEE SOME WEREWOLF ACTION!

That said, I absolutely LOVED Luna and Lavender. They saved the damn movie for me.
