a friendly request to my friends on my lj friends list:
please do not use gay or one of its commonly-used variants (teh ghey etc) as a perjorative term unless you're intending to offend me. i know nobody's trying to offend me and that you're all lovely people, but it's one internet trend i'm really hating, plus it appears to be on the increase. this is not directed at any one person in the SLIGHTEST, i've just noticed it cropping up a few times recently and i find it rude. thankees.
in return, i will try to cut down on my smilie usage. anyone with requests on other shit that i should cut down on, knock yourselves out.
anyone who replies to this post with a comment of 'you are so gay!', 'that post was teh ghey' or ANY such thing, consider yourself kicked in the ass.
