Wha' hoppen?
I started to post on February's Big Chill - a long post - and suddenly the screen flipped to the desktop. The toolbar said I was still connected to the Internet, but Firefox wasn't open. What in the world?
Anyway - update on me - after struggling for months with ever-increasing service slowness and inability to get through, I called QWest. Who said I was still on the old dial-up at 256Kb - or was it 56 Kb? - at $31.99/ month and had been for 12 years. They had 5Gb broadband for $24.99/month. And the service tech would come out and set me up for free. No more struggling with it at home!
You didn't have to ask me twice.
So now I have a nice little router on my desktop, and easy connection and no delays or struggling to get through.
Though blips still happen.
