I'm a dangerous snake.
I think this will be the first time ever that I make a repost of music just for the hell of it. And of all things. Ages ago I really randomly came across Bop Tart Records and discovered a little band called The Lights. Trust me, it's very rare that I "discover" a band completely on my own (as opposed to someone else posting/talking about them somewhere on the wide, wide web) but these guys are the exception.
The song below is a fucking punk song. Or something. "Post punk", whatever the hell that means exactly, has been thrown around. It'll fucking explode into your ears but I beg beg beg of you not to be afraid. Something about it. I just can't place it. The production ain't top notch but that's about it. This is the kind of thing that you should find yourself strutting to down the street to or getting you revved up to knock someone out. Or, in my case, getting your act right for certain Halloween festivities and the part you/I am playing. The guitars have this unbelievably raw and striking quality that drown out the dude's vocals for the most part but it doesn't even matter. At this point, I still don't know what he's saying but I sing along anyway. All you really need to know is the name of the track and that should be good enough for you.
