Lots of spiders.

Let me be the first to say this has been a crazy fucking week. And I'm not even in the musical! My sympathies (and congratulations) go out to you guys.
Chou, my friend (and newly conformed LJ user, sucka), you threw an excellent partay last night and as people were saying, it will most definitely become something more regular than not. Please and thank you. To Mr. Bruan, since for some reason people kept repeating it, you and I are going to have a good ol' wrestlin' match soon so prepare yourself. When you least expect it, my friend. Or maybe not -- those tiki torches definitely provided a good battle ring.
Anyway, we were supposed to have a jam last night but things sort of fell apart for various reasons, which is okay. Primarily, I wouldn't have even been able to get a drive with my 3,000,000 instruments seeing as my mother now cannot drive for approx. 2 months. Long story but just another testament to how ridiculous this week has been. So as I was walking home last night at about 1:40 am, I turned early onto a side-street in my neighbourhood and there was this guy standing there. He was just standing there outside a house havin' a smoke so as I approached him, I said hi. The next instant, I had stopped and was talking to him. He's 25 and visiting for a few months from Germany staying with his friends in the house. He told me how they were there pretty much just playing music and partying every day which I found interesting. So we start talking about music and jamming and the like and I ended up giving him my e-mail. Now, we might be hooking up in the near future and collaborating our stuff. He actually managed to name a couple German indie artists that I know of so who knows, 'could be cool.
This isn't really related but definitely worth posting. I found this little gem awhile ago and it's about time I share it. The band General Miggs is normally a punk rock outfit but this song is off their newest EP and rings a bit of a more acoustic-based Wolf Parade or something along those lines. I hope you like it -- it sounds iffy perhaps but it grows on you immensely. Or so I found.
