So... I'd like to start out by saying that I hate this whole online thing. Every stupid account I have (except for Gmail, which I really do like) is, well, stupid and they just all seem so annoying and pointless. Unfortunately, it's come to the point where I can't just quit. Which is one of the main reasons it's so annoying.
I'm a hypocrite sometimes but I'm just going to accept it and move on.
Moving on, whoever tried buying tickets for Radiohead on Saturday (otherwise, fuck you special people who had connections or whateverblahblahblah), I hope you got tickets. I sure didn't. I sat there 15 minutes early and clicked "Find Tickets" the moment they went on sale and still to no avail. That'll be twice I've missed them. I could round up my cash and spend $300 - $1000 on one but the way I see it, working at a simple ice-cream store shouldn't go to waste on something like that... A waste at that expense, anyway.
In any case, here are some pretty good quality bootlegs of three new songs of theirs' (played only by Thom and Jonny, mind you) that they played six days ago at the Big Ask Benefit. These, in their stripped format, combined with older bootlegs of material Thom played acoustic last year at the Trade Justice Rally, make me more than a little excited for the next release.

MP3: Radiohead - Cymbal Rush

MP3: Radiohead - Bodysnatchers

MP3: Radiohead - Arpeggi

+++ My favourite Radiohead music video of all time, "Push Pulk/Spinning Plates".

+++ "Like Spinning Plates" live in Montreal three years ago.

+++ In the spirit of the moment, click here to download a reversed mix I just did of the same song. Interesting...

What a weekend. How was yours?
