Along with The Artist's Way, I'm doing a physical detox. It's a weight-loss program from the essential oils company that involves a tea with nice oils and herbs, a fiber-heavy smoothie powder...and I've been using the therapy oils.

I don't know, but I think it's both assisting AND compounding the affects of this reprogram.

Has now spilt its guts. I may have a couple months, if I'm lucky. A few weeks if I'm not.

DANGIT, GIRL, I want to write Vigil first! And then Archivalist! I have a backlog, why can't you just queue up?

Because that is not the way this works. Obviously.

I took a bit of a risk and admitted in a thread of critique on my poetry that that I was having a hard time.

I try to never brush off a critique, unless it's one that really bothers me, and then only temporarily, until I get perspective.
I try to see the big picture from critiques I get, and relate it back to other pieces.

I had a twinge, the other day.

Every once in a while I wonder if I was a bit emo to consider leaving Japan as a bereavement, as a breaking of heart--and just thinking that made my chest ache.

I never get very far with the rational investigation of that.
