Still rearranging and redecorating our bedroom. Project just completed was to transfer a wall-mount for a guitar from the boys' room. I kind of liked the idea of three-dimensional stuff on the wall as decoration, and managed to put a cute little Squirt toy up with thumbtacks--and branched out from there
It's not really finished looking, but it's fresh and cute, and gives the room a new vibe that matches the clean blue.
We've ended up not having a mirror in the room. You'd think this would be horrible for a pair of chicks, but actually...it's like the room is really "pressure off" because of it. We're also not the type who want to obsess about looking perfect. It works out.
So far there's kind of an art ghetto on one wall, and the rest is pretty much quiet wallspace. Which is also refreshing. I just need to finish clearing surfaces and putting my fiber studio stuff into place, and it'll be a working living space.
Oh, and figure out what to do with the wheel-barrow load of old manuscripts and collaging material that I don't want to throw away, but also don't need omnipresent. Because while it's now out of my room, it's cluttering up my mother's living room...
