IMO, the penalties handed out weren't nearly enough. If you want to send a message that all players will hear, ban them. I mean, hell, the MLB banned Pete Rose for life over gambling, but the guys who are using illegal drugs are getting (what amounts to) a slap on the wrist.

And I say that as a sports fan.

So, um, apparently Derek Jeter broke his ankle in last night's loss to the Tigers.

Wow.

That's going to seriously change the face of things for the rest of the post-season. And while I don't pretend to like him (not even a smidgeon, him & his smug face), I wish him a speedy recovery so I can get back to hating him next season.
