As I come back from eating too much - entirely meatless - food (I don't like perogies and the like save once a year), I would just like to wish everyone a very happy holidays, no matter what it is you celebrate this time of year - if anything specific at all. Hope everyone is having a safe and happy time, no matter where you are and who you are with.
Merry Christmas! Khrystos Razhdaietsia! :D
Off now to sleep. Although I wish I was of an age where my dreams would be filled with stockings and sugarplums, it's more so nightmares of a scale taunting me *snort* - after the month it's been. This was my main holiday tonight as well - Christmas Eve is more the emphasis with my extended family. Ever since I was a child we do the big traditional meal with the twelve dishes etc, and exchange all gifts except very immediate family which was saved for Christmas morning, but since that entity doesn't 'exist' in the same way, we do them now as well.
Yes, I come home for every Christmas. And I don't see that changing any time soon.
