'cause i'm a nerd, yeah yeah yeah!
my courses for this semester (which started monday) are as follows:
social psychology
abnormal psychology
seeing the light (an introductory physics course for the non-mathematically inclined)
independent study on outreach to homeless kids
i'm most excited about abnormal psychology. it's a fascinating subject regardless, but also the professor is very cool, funny and interesting, and he vows to keep the course that way. he warned us that it's very common and easy to pathologize one's self upon reading about the "abnormalities," which i thought was hilarious--i thought i was the only one who did that. my doctor has probably secretly diagnosed me as a hypochondriac since i'm always asking him if i might have certain illnesses. he always smiles and says no and explains why. but i bet i DO i have hypochondria. i'll have to ask him.
