musings on the upcoming Venture Bros. finale--a monument to my ever-growing fanboyness

Skip this if you don't watch the show

Okay, so after watching "ORB" last week I have some ideas as to what happens in the two part Venture Bros. season finale which debuts online tonight, so I have to write this before it does.

1. Phantom Limb has to show up and we have to find out what he did to gain the wrath of the Guild between seasons (remember in "Shadowman 9" when they call him "the traitor Phantom Limb"?). I want to know why he vacated his house and why The Monarch got to take it over.
2. The Monarch and Sgt. Hatred have to fight over who arches Dr. Venture because now, due to J.J.'s "throwing a rock" (to use once-again Dr. Girlfriend's words) The Monarch can arch him.
3. The orb has to be in it. I'm not sure what it will do, but there must be a fight over it. Publick and Hammer have said that the final scene in "ORB" makes the finale a three-parter, so this means that the OSI has to be involved in recovering the orb too since they programmed Brock's car to kill him.

point that will be answered:
The title of the finale is "The Family that Slays Together Stays Together" So who is this a reference to? I get the feeling it's Rusty and J.J. since they now have a mutual enemy in The Monarch.

Questions that I want answered:
1. Guild vs. OSI: who are the actual bad guys? Why I wonder this: Sgt. Hatred, back in his OSI days, was the one who assigned Brock to Operation: Rusty's Blanket which is ultimately designed to prevent the activation of the orb. Also, in "ORB"'s flashback scene Oscar Wilde says "This is not a guild of calamitous intent," so is calling it so and having all the supervillains actually just a red herring (and seriously, would David Bowie want to destroy the whole world?). Or better yet, what if they know the orb is evil and participate in supervillainy to prevent the so-called "men of science and men of hope" from activating it?
