Is it a sin that I exist? (Rant)

I'm preaching to the choir here--but I wanted to share what I posted on Facebook today (which doesn't entirely consist of the 'choir'). I just needed to rant.  It's nothing original--but sometimes I just have to say this stuff or I'm going to explode, or weep, or something...

Well my dear, that was beautifully said and I am sending you and Sarah many hugs.

I might not bat for the rainbow team, but I'll happily give you an AMEN from the choir

Hallelujah sistah! You may not bat for the rainbow team, but I figure that all slash writers are at least on the cheerleading squad (to mix metaphors...cuz baseball doesn't have cheerleaders, does it?)

Preach it, sister. You have every right to be pissed. The fact that you have a good life doesn't mean you're not allowed to be upset when you're treated as less than someone else. You should be pissed. Yeah, it could be worse - but that doesn't make it ok. You're right, it shouldn't be a question. There should be no "reasoned dialog" about whether or not it's ok to treat any human being like they are of lesser value than another human being. I'm pissed too, because that way of thinking is just so hateful and so wrong. I will never understand how a group of people who supposedly follow Christ, who never excluded anyone and spread love everywhere, can behave in a way that is so opposite those principles. And I hate that word "tolerance." It's like, "I really can't stand you being gay in my vicinity but I'll shut up and smile even though I don't want to and I deserve a pat on the back for it ( ... )

Thanks so much for this. The word tolerance is so problematic.

It did help just to write my feelings down!

Btw, I LOVE that icon. Such a sweet and natural looking photo of our lad Adam.
