I want to be a hero

Today I talked with Jessi when she came over to the Cyberstation today, we discussed that we were going kinda fast and we should slow it down a bit. Maybe it's because in another relationship (or lack of) I thought she wasn't interested since I was incredibly slow in advancing.

After I finished work at 9:15pm, I went up the escalator and talked to Steve and Jenni. Jenni got a phone call from Jessi, she has a flat tire so she can't pick Jenni up. I called Jessi to make sure she was okay, she said she was doing fine and didn't need any help, she didn't have a spare but she was going to pump some air back in to get by. Steve decided to take Jenni home so that left me free to do whatever but I was headed home to catch up on long needed sleep.

Right when I hit Platte and Academy, I got worried for a bit so I called Jessi again. She was at a different 7-11 on Nevada because the air pump was not working at the first one. I thought she was close by so I wanted to go there to make sure everything's alright. First thing was to make sure I have Fix'n Flat in my trunk.....good I still have one in there. I almost got lost since I took a right on Airport and didn't know how to get to Nevada. Along the way, she realized she wasn't carrying any money with her. She can't pump any air into the tire and does not have a spare tire to put on her car.

FFX-2 Mission Time: Time to be a hero and rescue her from her peril! She's stuck somewhere on St. Elmo and Nevada, go go go!

Turn right on Airport, turn right on Chelton, turn left on Pikes Peak, turn right on Nevada......is it a right? I called her up and asked her if I should turn left or right on Nevada when I come from Pikes Peak. She said left so I told her as soon as I make a U-turn then I will be there.

I was speeding there fast (but a few times I had to slow down because I saw 4 cop cars along the way, whew) and I finally saw the 7-11. I took out the Fix'n Flat, shook it up, and attached to the tire then.......nothing. Nothing was coming out from the can. Maybe I didn't shake it long enough.........okay, maybe I'm not pressing the button hard enough.........dammit.

I went inside the 7-11 and luckly they were selling Fix'n Flats there (FOR 7 DOLLARS). I shook it up but then, when I realized that stuff is actually shaking around in there, I realized what happened. The Fix'n Flat I was trying to use earlier is empty, I used the can before on my flat tire and thought there was enough left over to use it again.

The tire inflated back up and the car was good to go. Even though Jessi can go home now, I still feel...well like an idiot and not a hero.
