Last night, while I was waiting at Queen Street Commons, I came across a posting for an urban agriculture internship at the Hacienda Sarria Market Garden. It's being run by The Working Centre who I've had experience with last year through Maurita's kitchen. It sounds like a fantastic opportunity to learn about gardening, get my hands dirty, get outside more, and get more involved in the community at large. So I got in touch with the people running it and today I submitted my application which included my résumé and a cover letter. Wish me luck!
