(no subject)
I talked to Meggy again yesterday. I guess they have school for another 5 weeks, and with the 7 hour time difference, we rarely are online at the same time. I'm amazed at how different things are in Germany, yet things are pretty similar. As it turns out, she'll be arriving on Monday, August 14th. The first day of band camp. I feel bad about that. She'll spend her first week here home alone. My sister will already be in Chile, I'll be at marching band, and my parents will be working. And what will she do about food? I mean it's awkward enough being alone in a strange house in a foreign country, but then to be on your own in terms of food and everything? Agh. Silly band camp.
The last I heard, Meggy only has 2 of her 3 families decided on. So, if any of you are interested in hosting her, contact the rotary. She's 16 and will be attending our school as a junior. She's not really involved with music anymore, although she did play the flute at one point, but thought it was stupid. I agree.
Last night I was supposed to be doing no boy stuff with Megan. But, as I was driving there was suddenly a Steve and a Jason on bikes in the road and they followed me. I still got my milk in the happy glass though, so life is good.
Um. Low brass sectional today. The whole low brass thing is completely different than clarinet. And by completely different, I mean several times better. Holy shit. Why didn't I make the switch sooner?
I wore a pink shirt today. Apparently I have to do my own laundry or something. I should get on that like now so I don't wear more pink tomorrow. Yes, I do own several pink shirts.
I'm completely obsessed with minesweeper. It's pretty much the greatest thing ever. And jezzball. And chips challenge. And pipe dream. All my games disappeared from my computer years ago, but last night Justin like made them come back. So, for that Justin is the awesomest. For like. A day. But once I finally manage to drag myself away from my computer, I will hurt him. I promise.
Oh, and Steve, I'm sure you've noticed by now, but I have your wallet. You know what you have to do to get it back.
