A PSA from local wildlife; also, who wants a yard sale?

The chickadees in my yard would like it to be known that it is an outrage, an ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE, that their access to the feeder is occasionally disrupted by human activity. They can stuff all the sunflower seeds they can handle down their little gullets 99% of the time, but every so often I have to be out there to take the car in or out of the ( Read more... )

Just a note for sanity - if you guys are still flying out on the 16th to househunt, it seems like the 15th would be a bad day to be running around with a yard sale. :-)

Hi. It's ME. I think about things ahead of time. :P All a yard sale requires is taking stuff in and out of the shed. (I did have to nix a going-away party on that date, because THAT is not manageable.) But in any case, there are two other date options that will probably work better.

Yeah, and I get to play the role of the peanut gallery, noting how stressed out you've always gotten before yard sales. The logistics might be easy enough, but that doesn't mean other aspects are. :p

You are being as "helpful" as my mother right now. :P

My stress level is going to be at roughly three thousand and eight percent for the next two months no matter what; this one's pretty minor in the grand scheme. (I am currently dealing with a situation where I give up three weeks' worth of paid hours or cancel all of my personal plans between now and May 6 because the schedules are untenable. Wheeeeee.) I appreciate the concern, but I have weighed the issues and still want to leave this date as an option.

Any sane person would take being compared to your mother as a compliment.

The bit about work sucks, but I am not surprised. They have shown, time and again, that your schedule is not their concern. I suspect you know what my vote is for,... :-)
