i miss long drives...
last night was a welcome change. some people say it's not the destination, but the journey that matters. i disagree. both the journey and the destination matter.
i'm visiting my aunt & uncle this weekend. i love spending time with them. whenever i'm here, i feel that completely content family-feel...i guess that's the best way i can describe it. when i'm here, it becomes all about family...the way it should be. driving down it's almost like i shed a skin that i must wear everyday; i feel weightless. it's like bein' wrapped up inside your favorite blanket.
the weather's beautiful down here. i got up a minute ago, made coffee for my aunt & uncle, & took a shower...now, i'm just waiting for them to get up.
oh, btw...yesterday was my last day @ the branch...& while i was in the break-room...it was robbed. no guns involved, so, technically i didn't go out w/a bang
