(no subject)
I now have 75% less hair on my head. Whee! Hooray for summer haircuts, and the fact that my hair grows super fast. It should be long enough again to go all Farrah Fawcett-y for the 70's wedding in the fall anyhow. I just can't handle that much hair in the hot and humid swamp summers anyhow.
I am a good daughter and am going to book pedicures and tea here for when I'm stuck in rural PA. Her brthday and Mother's Day are one week apart, so I have this and some cast iron stuff I picked up while in NOLA for her. Besides, what else where there be for me to do, besides visit Tim Hortons drive-throughs in middle of nowhere NW PA?
I need to pick up my work laptop at some point this weekend, but there are 2 baseball games today (ugh), and a brand new stadium beergarden by my work metro station (double ugh). That added to graduation ceremonies on the Mall = maybe I'll just do it tomorrow, unless I want to spend the rest of my day hating humanity.
Still kind of meh about my job and especially DC in general, but I will bide my time, and look for opportunities to widen my work skill set. And hey, Artomatic is coming up, and will be conveniently down the street from work. I can't wait to confuse coworkers with the artsy bar, modern art exhibits and performance art shows.
