Hello! Hopefully I can be of some help!

The first icon has very nice, natural colors in it. I think my main issue, if I were going to say it has any, is the slightly grainy aspects that the shadows (or lack thereof) have on the right side of the icon. I think, in this case, in order to smooth those out and to really make this icon pop, i might have opted for more defined lights and shadows. Like these:

In both cases, the shadows are kept rather dark and the lighter half of the faces (and the coloring) have that extra definition and eye catching quality. It would really make the first icon stand out a little more, I think!

The second icon is really gorgeous. I love the composition a lot (and the cropping on the cap underneath looks amazing; is it also a stand alone icon?). I think the only way you could improve upon this one is, maybe, to add a little more contrast overall or to just up the saturation of the small, orange cap to really make it stand out. Again, this would just make the overall icon just that much more eye catching.

The third icon has a fabulous crop! In terms of coloring though, the lack of variation makes it seem monotone, but not necessarily in a way that stands out? If your intent was to go for something more monochrome, my suggestion would be to add some light and/or texture in to break up the monotony and really give the icon a focus point (her mouth or her eyes, for example). If you weren't trying for monochrome coloring, maybe try and add some different tones in? Or you could go my personal favorite route and try a black and white icon. i think the expression on her face is intense enough that black and white would be appropriate in this situation.

The fourth icon is practically flawless. I think, were I you, I might bright it up a little bit, but my preference does tend to run toward 'make alllllll the lights glow' so that might be why I'd go for that. The crop and sharpening are magical though.

The final icon is interesting, but I think the duplication of the image makes the canvas seem rather cluttered. In this case, the main image of her face is quite striking, and the smaller duplication just serves as an unnecessary distraction. So my advice would definitely be to nix the duplication and just focus on making the bigger image pop.

Definitely really, really love your cropping though, and I love the more natural coloring style you've got going on as well!
