I just gave our favorite of the litter of kittens away. Bryan's still asleep, so I have until he wakes up to enjoy him not being upset about it. However, we needed to find more homes for them. We don't have the space or the money for 6 cats. And it was her or nothing, so...

My ferret, Lillie, died last night.

Rest in peace, little girl. I hope you're having a good time with your brother.

All right, it's time. Who wants a kitten? They need good homes now, and I would really like to both have them go to people I know and have my bedroom back. Two of them will have homes shortly, and I'd like to find homes for at least two more. They're all fully litter box trained, well socialized, and very friendly. I got a back massage from my cat this morning.

Seriously. I was lying in bed on my stomach, and she ran up, walked onto my back, and stood there kneading exactly where my muscles are sore for about 2 minutes.

I think someone stole my cat. She's certainly not home, and none of the metro area shelters have her.

And by the by, I'd like to note that the people at the Colorado Humane Society were very rude.
