Made in Photoshop CS3, uses channel mixer, selective coloring, curves and hue/saturation. I included a .psd :)
Open your base, crop it, prepare it. I used a lovely picture of Satine from Moulin Rouge that I found at
dont_be_so_base.
1. Duplicate your base, set the new layer to screen 100%.
2. Create a channel mixer layer (layer > new adjustement layer > channel mixer) with the following settings :
* Output channel : red.
- red : +100%.
- green : -12%.
- blue : -6%.
3. Create a selective color layer (layer > new adjustement layer > selective color) with the following settings :
* Color : red.
- cyan : -75%.
- magenta : 0%.
- yellow : 0%.
- black : +30%.
* Color : cyan.
- cyan : +100%.
- magenta : -100%.
- yellow : 0%.
- black : 100%.
* Color : blue.
- cyan : +100%.
- magenta : -100%.
- yellow : 0%.
- black : 100%.
4. Create a curves layer (layer > new adjustement layer > curves) with the following settings :
* Channel : RGB.
First point : input : 63 ; output : 74.
Second point : input : 196 ; output : 188.
* Channel : blue.
First point : input : 50 ; output : 82.
Second point : input : 185 ; output : 211.
5. Create a hue/saturation layer (layer > new adjustement layer > hue/saturation) with the following settings :
Blue - Saturation : +60%.
Flatten your image, you're done ! I'd love to see your results :)
